Erasmus Student Update: Thursday.

We started the morning by hopping on the bus to L.E.S Las Lomas, which was another high school that specialises in making “hogueras” and other constructions and statues from different materials such as wood or cardboard. The school was very welcoming and it was interesting to see the process of how these amazing pieces of art are made.

Later on, we went to the Museum of Modern Art and Nativity Museum. Although it wasn’t our favourite activity of the day, it was interesting to see the contrast between Modern Art and Art from years ago. We also got to stamp t-shirts using a stencil and filters. The Valor Chocolate factory was something worth remembering. We learnt the history of the company and saw the production process. We also tried different chocolates they produced, it was enjoyed by all.

In the afternoon, we where warmly welcomed at the Castle of San Fernando to eat and enjoy dinner. We got to taste some classical Spanish dishes such as the paella and enjoy the company of other students from different countries.
