We won Gold! Lusk CC has just completed Jigsaw’s One Good School ™ initiative 2022/23. We are delighted to let you know that we have received a One Good School Gold Award. The aim of One Good School was to enable schools to share the responsibility for promoting and supporting youth mental health across the whole-school community to ensure better mental health outcomes for young people. Our students, staff and parents participation in online courses and webinars has helped our school strengthen our supports for our young people and this 'Gold Award' recognises all this hard work! Thank you and well done to everyone involved! If you would like to find out more about Jigsaw services for young people, please visit https://jigsaw.ie/get-support/ ![]()

It has been a busy run up to the Christmas Break for all Staff and Students in Lusk CC. You can read about some of the activities that took place in our 2022 Christmas Newsletter below. A huge well done to our 6th year students who collected an impressive amount of food to donate to the Saint Vincent dePaul charity.
Students were asked to bring in a different item each day on the Reverse Advent Calendar. Pasta, Rice, Popcorn, Biscuits, tins, crackers, soup and tea/coffee and were collected by our 6th Year Students. They really worked hard to promote and collect as much food as possible from all Year Groups every day in our Reverse Advent Calendar campaign. We’ve no doubt that the Saint Vincent DePaul will be so delighted with the donations! LCA 2 spent the day on Tuesday preparing Christmas dinner for their class, teachers and Principals to enjoy.
A fantastic group of students who put great effort into their cooking. A wonderful day was had by all!
