Food Appeal

Picture
Our reverse advent calendar is a fun and meaningful way to give back during the holiday season.
Here's how it works:
  1. Traditional Advent Calendar: Normally, an advent calendar counts down the days to Christmas, and each day you open a door to find a small gift or treat.
  2. Reverse Advent Calendar: Instead of receiving something each day, you give something. Each day, you add an item to the box. These items are listed on the poster above.
  3. Collection Period: We start next Tuesday on December 2nd and continue until Wednesday December 18th, adding a new item each day.
  4. Donation: On the final day we will give all our boxes to the local St Vincent DePaul, who will distribute the food to local families in need of support over Christmas.
Why It's Great:
  • Giving Back: It’s a way to help others who might be struggling.
  • Community Activity: It is a community project, teaching the importance of generosity.
  • Holiday Spirit: It spreads the true spirit of the holidays, which is about giving and kindness.
Please support us this year!!
