Webinar - Anxiety based school avoidance

ISPCC is delighted to deliver a FREE online webinar to parent's/ carers on 'Anxiety Based School Avoidance' which takes place on Tuesday the 4th of November at 7pm.
On the evening ISPCC Childline Digital Support Coordinator, Bree O'Neill will look at how parent's can support their child. Key take aways on the night: Provide a definition of the term “School Avoidance” Provide an understanding of why children and young people may avoid school. Provide strategies and skills to cope with school avoidance Provide tips about talking to children and young peoples school. Introduce the ISPCC’s Digital Mental Health and Wellbeing Programmes. Flu Vaccine..
We are delighted to confirm that Ridgewood Medical will be returning this year in partnership with the HSE, to offer the Live Attenuated Influenza Vaccine (LAIV) nasal flu vaccine to students at Lusk Community College.
In order for students to receive the LAIV nasal flu vaccine, Parents are required to provide informed consent. Please review the consent form issued to students on the 24th September, which includes important information about the vaccine. Should you wish for your student to participate in this free vaccination program, kindly sign and return the consent form to the school by 1st October 2025. Additional information from the HSE below.
In order for students to receive the LAIV nasal flu vaccine, Parents are required to provide informed consent. Please review the consent form issued to students on the 24th September, which includes important information about the vaccine. Should you wish for your student to participate in this free vaccination program, kindly sign and return the consent form to the school by 1st October 2025. Additional information from the HSE below.
